This dresser was something I bought early on at Restoration Hardware during one of their big sales (they tend to have them seasonally – so check back if it’s not currently on sale)! The rug was a steal I found at a home goods near me for just a couple hundred dollars! Originally I purchased one from The Land of Nod. It had a beautiful pattern, but it had a bit of sparkle in the design which wasn’t clear from the pictures. It was very nice – if you had a girl. For a boy, I didn’t love it so I returned it. One of my favorite bloggers posts pictures of the rug from The Land of Nod here.
This train was something given to me by my Grandfather who passed just this past fall – this was something I wanted to incorporate into the room. It was silver and a bit rusty, I wish I had done a before/after photo so you could see how it looked, but I just took some spray paint and made it white to clean it up and match his room!
This is probably the one contribution Troy had to the Room – I was lucky he let me pick out most things myself (rare of him to do)! He had seen this Zebra with a frame around it and it’s really been one of the highlights of the Room – everyone asks where we got the idea from!
Another gift from a great friend, I was surprised I wasn’t overloaded with Stuffed animals, this is one of my favorites! Baby’s First Teddy!
My girlfriend who recently had a baby girl (now 1 years old already) gave us this book – It’s so great, but here’s to hoping Maddox’s first words will be MaMa! 🙂
This was something I found on etsy! I wanted to organize his closet well and was able to find these cute little dividers that work great!
I had found this chandelier at a local lighting store, but found it’s inspiration for it here on Houzz.

One of our first purchases for Maddox we were out shopping not looking for anything for him but happened to see this Giant Giraffe. I had been looking for something similar for awhile and just had to have it! So I put it in the cart and headed to the register to purchase. Well, we get outside and go to put it in the car – (the only thing I can do is blame it on the ‘pregnancy brain’ because I had forgotten what car we took) our little 2 door 911. Somehow we managed to fit it in with the giraffe taking up the majority of the room. Luckily we were only 15 minutes away from our house.
